Robert H. Bluestein
serves as President of the Company with primary responsibility for the administration and structure of each portfolio under management. Mr. Bluestein graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Economics in 1967, and from the University of Michigan Business School with an M.B.A. in Finance in 1969.Mr. Bluestein began his career in the securities industry in 1969. He joined Goldman, Sachs & Co. in 1977 where he served as Vice President and Regional Manager. In that position, his responsibilities included administration of the North Central Region for the various divisions of Goldman, Sachs & Co., as well as coverage of major investment portfolios for research and trading related services.
Mr. Bluestein currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the College for Creative Studies, Children's Hospital of Michigan, and The Children's Center of Detroit. He served as a national co-chair of the Cornell Fund Campaign, and was a recipient of the Jerome Alpern Distinguished Alumni Award from Cornell in April of 2000.
Mr. Bluestein has satisfactorily completed the following qualification examinations: Regional Manager, Series 12; Registered Principal, Series 40; Registered Options Principal, Series 4; General Securities Representative, Series 7; Uniform Securities Agent State Law, Series 63; Commodities Futures Trading, Series 3; Interest Rate Options, Series 5; and Foreign Currency Options, Series 15.
