We have an immediate full time opening for a highly motivated individual in Operations for the Investment Management Team.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree – business related field preferred but not required
- Previous internship/operations experience in securities, finance or banking required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel
- Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) software a plus!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare Investment Advisory Agreements and Custody Account Applications
- Coordinate transfer of accounts with multiple parties: Custodians, Investment Managers,
Trustees, Clients, Attorneys, Accountants - Prepare letters of authorization and cash transfer documentation
- Post daily transaction activity into in-house portfolio software
- Prepare letters/memos/emails to Clients, Custodians, Investment Managers
- Coordinate, update and maintain client information
- Initiate Client stock donations
- Reconcile incoming and outgoing cash and securities
- Track and update cost basis information
- Set up new accounts using in-house portfolio software
- Answer and direct phone calls when necessary
- Provide general support to visitors when necessary
